We track 18 retiree residence routes across 17 countries. Among dedicated pension-income visas priced in US dollars, the lowest income threshold is $1,000/month for a single applicant — Panama's Pensionado Visa and Costa Rica's Pensionado Visa.
Thresholds are official requirements restated from each government's immigration portal and shown in the currency the authority uses — we do not convert them, because exchange rates move faster than the rules. Figures pegged to a minimum wage or benchmark reset every January and are marked with their validity period.
